About Composition:

Collagen–
⇒ Collagen is mainly present in the connective tissue and skin

Glucosamine Sulphate Potassium Chloride-
It is a naturally occurring substance and is an amino sugar and precursor of glycosylated proteins and lipids. It is believed to help develop and renew cartilage (the hard-connective tissue mainly located on bones near joints in the body), and provides the lubrication to joints and flexibility.

Boswellia Serrata-
Boswellia serrata used as anti-inflammatory agent. It is used to reduce inflammation in the following conditions such as osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis.

Vitamin C-
⇒ Vitamin C is used act as reducing agent and coenzyme, it is required in the diet for the proper functioning of the connective tissue and bones
⇒ It is widely used as antioxidant
⇒ Vitamin C reduces to dehydroascorbic are the two forms required for the various oxidation and reduction reaction
⇒ Required for the collagen synthesis

Vitamin D3-
Calcitriol is an active metabolite of vitamin D. calcitriol is also known as vitamin d3. Calcitriol plays an essential role in regulating plasma calcium with parathyroid hormone (PTH) by increasing absorption of dietary calcium and prevents renal tubular secretion of calcium. calcitriol is used in the treatment of bone disease, hypocalcemia in patients undergoing chronic renal dialysis, and osteoporosis.

Mechanism of Action:

Collagen peptides works when present in the blood reaches the target site in the tissues where they act as building block for the cells and helps in the production of new fibres.
Glucosamine is the precursor for the 6 -glycosaminoglycans, it is the major component for the synovial liquid and cartilage synthesis thus delay down the progression of osteoarthritis.
Boswellia serrata contains boswellic acid which inhibits the enzyme 5-lipoxygenase (5-LO), which further prevents the formation of leukotriene in the body. Leukotrienes are molecules that causes inflammation.
